I shall call him Mini Me.
Remember a few weeks back when ABC Family showed one Harry Potter movie after another all weekend long? We were watching the fourth movie when my son says "Look Mom, it's Edward". My husband tells him it is Cedric, not Edward. Then he turns to me for confirmation that the two are different. I ask if he means the characters of the actor. He is shocked & asked if "that Rob guy" plays Cedric too. Seriously?
Kill me Harry. Cedric sparkled after he was killed.
I am the perfect predator. Fear the sparkle!
Everyone from Moaning Myrtle to Lord Voldemort describes
Cedric as "the handsome one".
So handsome that he looks a lot like Edward.
Cedric makes Hufflepuff look cool.
Nom, nom, nom.
Fanfiction says Ron loves when Cedric "watches him sleep",
at least I think that's what the kids call it nowadays.
How many days until the next move? Too many.
Quick, somebody tell them most Twilight fans love Harry Potter too.
Did I mention we have seen all the Harry Potter movies about five gazillion times? Years ago when my oldest was having trouble learning Spanish, I put in the first Harry Potter movie & set the language to Spanish. The kid could quote the movie word for word, so hearing it in Spanish helped. Is it possible an otherwise intelligent man just doesn't want to see the obvious?
Tell me if any of your family/friends have been as oblivious to your Robsession.
PS- spellcheck just tried to change fanfiction to infection. Do you think it's trying to tell me something?

"I shall call him Mini-Me." Bwahahahaha love it!!
ReplyDeleteSince I have Twilight obsession over just Robsession most people who know me really well know all about it. I don't hold back any more either. If they don't like it, then their loss :)
Yes!I saw them all this past weekend on ABC Family, and it was a reminder that when Cedric first jumped out of that tree all female hearts stopped briefly, even though we had no idea who Rob was and the camera never really dwells on Cedric's flushed-cheek face, if if the director et al. knew that if it did all viewers would instantly forget the pint sized Harry the P.

ReplyDeleteYou are a better blogger than me. I think the last time I did was, well I can't even remember.
ReplyDeleteI scan ABC Family channel to see if HP-GoF, is on and if it is, stay and watch for a while.
Maybe we all should take a lesson from your son and switch the language to Spanish. Eduardo calente!
Mmmmm . . . . Cedward!
ReplyDeleteThis was the motivating factor that made me get off my ass and finally read all the HP books. Then I bought all the DVDs so I would know what was going on when I watched HP-GoF.
Next thing I know, Happy & I are at the midnight showings for the rest of the HP movies & I'm starting a small collection of Daniel Radcliffe naked pix! Nice parka!
