Visiting family and Twitarded to the rescue

Did everyone have a great Thanksgiving?  OK better question.  Did everyone survive spending all that time with all their family? I spend the week in Myrtle Beach with my family who lives there.  One or two meals a day with extended family plus extra time with them in between. I love my family and still threatened to never visit them again.  I know you are wondering what would make me say that when my Dad puts us up in a hotel with a water park.  Then there is my brother who is going thru a disastrous divorce and is still taking care of his wonderful little girls. All the kids had a great time together.

Do you remember when I visited Myrtle Beach in May?  It was kinda a great trip. I met Alex Meraz.  During the drive down, my doctor called & told me I'd hit menopause.  Shocking I know.  At the early age of 2 times Rob. I might have over reacted a little bit by turning myself into Bella in CW&IA.  Not the tattoo part if ya know what I mean. wink, wink

Alex is almost enough to make me switch teams.
From Cullen to Wolfpack.  What were you thinking?

Speaking of Alex, did you see him in People's Sexiest Men of 2010?  He has a great personality to go with that great bod and loves meeting his fans.  Hmmm.  Speaking of great personality and great bod, Kellan was in People's Sexiest Men issue as well.  On page 95 if anyone is looking. I snuck a peak at People mag while grocery shopping with my step mom.

Back to discussing all those family meals.  While on our way out to an Italian restaurant one night, we passed a Bellacino's Pizza & Grinders .  Putting Bella and grinder in the same name is enough to make me think fanfiction.  Then they really got dirty on me.  Did you know some Bellacino franchises offer ice cream too?  The official name for the ice cream section is a Bella Creamery.  Seriously!  I could not make up this stuff.
Which fanfic did Bella start out grinding & end up creamy?
Oh yeah, most of them.

Now for the reason I threatened to never visit my family again.  It's so embarrassing.  But you know me, I share everything.  My dad's latest business makes eyeglasses & I got my first pair of bi-focals.  OK. Technically I've needed bi-focals for a few years.  Well except that I wear contacts.  The contact solution is to have one contact for near sighted and one for far sighted.  So Thanksgiving weekend was my first actual pair of bi-focals.  The beach visits are making me old this year.  First menopause, then bi-focals. What next I ask you?

I will tell you what was next.  While parking my husband's four door full bed over sized truck, I backed into a car.  Of course the other party wasn't interested in exchanging insurance info.  The bitch had to call in the police which took forever.  I didn't know if I should cry or take a Xannex.  Turns out neither was needed.  While waiting for the cops, I read this Twitarded & immediately felt better.  JJ has such a way with words.

Tell me in the comments how your Thanksgiving was.  Did Bella cream herself?  Did you enjoy People's sexiest men?  Was your holiday a figurative car wreck?  I am thankful for twi-blogs that mean so much to me and my followers.  I couldn't have survived the last year without you all.

Friday Funniez and the randomizer

Yeah, yeah I know it's so late that in another hour the Friday Funniez would have been downgraded to Saturday Sillies.  It's been one long a$$ day.  Work, running pets to the kennel, helping find appropriate classes for the ungrateful teen in college & packing up to spend Thanksgiving week with my family.

The new improved picture feature of Blogger drives me crazy.  So tonight you are getting your Funniez in whatever order Blogger decided to download them.  I don't have the energy to fight it right now.

This family makes Twitards look good (& almost sane).
If you want to see a good looking Twitard click here.

I have no idea how this relates to Twilight.
I also have no idea why I typed ho instead of no 3 times.

Are you all rushing out to see the new Harry Potter move?  Harry Potter an the Deathly Hallows was all over this morning's news.  The say if you want to know how the movie turns out, you have to go see it.  Apparently the news around here has never heard of a little thing called reading.

Does anyone remember the fanfic where Bella was
playing online sex games with Edward?
Any bets that Fifty could teach both of them some "new games"?

Does everything lead to fanfic?
Depends on how dirty your mind is.

Please tell me I'm not the only mom that played Pokemon before finding Twilight.  It was fun and entertaining in a harmless G rated way.  I actually did catch them all in the Gold/Silver version.  Hmmm.  This pic has me wondering how the Gotta Catch Them All slogan could related to Twilight.  Would that be a weekend with Rob, Kellan & Jackson?  I started to say an evening with them, but decided that wasn't long enough.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone if I don't get near a computer in the next week.  I can read blogs/fanfic on my Droid, but commenting is a bit more difficult.

Fri Fri Friday Funniez

It's Friday.  Are you fried yet?  It's been an exciting week in Twidom as we enjoyed shots of Robsten in Rio.  Enjoy this week's random funniez.
Rob has been porking a certain Stewart with his meat.
How else could you possibly have swine free pork?

This is a real advertisement.
Even I can't come up with something funnier than that.

 Funny and true.  Great combination.

This is Hockeyward after a long night with Bella.
Frequently mistaken for narcolepsy.

Our husbands wish Edward would eventually look like this.
As if the years could change his perfection.
He will always be the perfect man predator.

Hope you have a great weekend.  Leave me a comment to let me know if any one stops by or if I'm talking to myself (early sign of insanity).  Laters baby.

Handcuffs on Kellan

Has everyone seen enough Rob lately?  What do ya mean there is no such thing as "enough Rob".  OK I'll agree with that one.  Clicky on my blogroll to see plenty of great pics of Rob in Rio.  Apparently he and some chick are down there to film the honeymoon part of Breaking Dawn.  I just don't understand the timing.  Rob was supposed to call me to "practice" the honeymoon action.  Oh well.

The other day, I was checking out Twilighters Anonymous for even more hawt pictures of my favorite twi-guys because I'm insatiable like that.  When what do my wondering eyes did appear... but new pictures of Kellan with an interview too.  Here is my favorite part of Kellan's interview in YRM magazine.

“I love the fans the more the merrier, the crazier the better. I really embrace it; I’m a people person, I’m very much an extrovert. There have been some crazy times, like fans didn’t think I was real and wanted to tackle me or they brought handcuffs and wanted to take me home, [but] it’s all out of love. There’s always a fun group of Twimoms or Twihards, especially around the world who really teach me new things, and I get to see new personalities. It’s great.”

Ogling seeing these great pics and thinking about Kellan in handcuffs while the Twi-moms teach him new things was enough to make my heart beat faster, set my mind to wandering, my words to rhyming, my other parts to.... well you know.  Hope you like my ode inspired by Kellan's words above. It's to the tune of Love and Marriage by Frank Sinatra.

Fans are crazy
Fans are crazy
Jump right on top of him when he gets lazy
This I tell you friend
I'd love him like there's no end

Cuffs on Kellan
Cuffs on Kellan
I won’t be the only Twihard yellin’
This I tell you sister
I’d like to play more games than Twister

Take him home
Take him home
I would never, ever let him roam
Kellan will be mine alone
I don’t care how loud you gals groan

I would teach him
I would teach him
Everywhere my hands could reach him
He would love to learn
And Rob would have to wait his turn

This last picture is my new computer background at work.  Don't know how much I'll get done, but at least I'll be smiling in my cube.

Friday Funniez - Making Renesmee

Let's start with a random question.  Did you love Bella & Edward's wedding for how romantic it was or just as a prelude to finally letting them get some action on the honeymoon?

I love it when Edward closes his eyes and thinks of me.
It makes us even when he does that.

A honeymoon with Edward would be heavenly.
Not like with my first husband.
We came home early because we were bored. WTF??

I would have said better bored than bruised.
That was before I met Edward (& Fifty).

Now

what

you

have

been

waiting

for -

a detailed

close up of

Edward & Bella

making Renesmee!!!

Oops.  A little too close up. Sorry folks.

Edward's face when he found out he was going to be a daddy.

And to think all this agony could be solved for 2.99.
I guess 107 years wasn't long enough for him to learn to use a rubber.

You know things are bad when Emmett is the voice of reason.

Tell me in the comments if your honeymoon was boring, bruising or hot & bothered?

Vote early, vote often

Tomorrow is election day around here.  Elections are important and I have a lot to say about this one. The last thing I want to do is stir up controversy in Twi-land based on partisan politics.

Some of you are happy with PFach for wearing an Obama shirt.  Others are very, very disappointed in him and thinking he would do better to just wear nothing at all.

Does anyone disagree with what he is wearing here?

We all know the real question isn't democrat or republican.  The real question is Cullen or Black.  I think everyone knows I vote Team Cullen all the way.  Oh, all the way with a Cullen?  That gives me ideas.

Election time makes me nostalgic.  My journey into Twitardia started in 2008.  I read the books, searched many blogs and was eagerly awaiting the Twilight movie.  Off and on during this time, I had great pain from gallstones.  I'm a great believer of Emmett's advice "when in doubt, whip it out".  So I took a week off of work to have my gallbladder removed & surf the twi-blogs.  When I came back to work, I covered my cubicle in signs like the one below.  Every surface was covered with Twilight pics I had found while at home recuperating. Nobody knew what to think.  This was before I had convinced most of my dept to read Twilight.

Hard to believe that was two entire years ago.  Before I discovered I like Rob better than Edward. Before I discovered the wonderfulness that is Kellan.  Before I learned about Jackson with his musical talent and MOS.  Before I started a blog.  Before I read the entire saga over a dozen times. Before I had seen any of the Twilight movies.  Before I had discovered Twitarded. Before I had discovered fanfiction.

All I know about BDSM I've learned from Twilight fanfic.

Tell me in the comments which Cullen or Quilute you would vote for and why.  I'll start.  I'd vote for Emmett because of his easygoing ways, sense of humor and muscles that look great in his Calvin Kleins.
