Friday Funniez

I have a bone to pick with Twitarded.  They are not Edward, so why are they reading my friggin mind.  This is happening way too often to be a mere coinsidence. Normally I spend my evenings visiting Twi-blogs, and thinking up ideas for future posts.

About a week ago, I was trolling around Twilol saving my favorite ones funnies for a future post.  The next morning I check my fav blogs before working on my own and find this Eclipse Trailer LOLZ

Then there was the night I saved pics of Eclipse Jasper, Carlisle and Rosalie.  You see I was planning to get up in the morning and write a post about how Eclipse was making hawt stars look fugly.  Of course, I got up the next morning and found they had used the same exact word with the same exact pics here.

I certainly don't claim to be half as brilliant as JJ and STY.  So how can we be on the same wavelength so often?  Could I be finally tuning into the Great Twitardedness like Luke getting in touch with the Force?  No idea.  All I know is that this week isn't the first time it's happened.

Said seks,  hows about I shows you some seks?

Newton gets blamed for evrthing.  He's such a fig, fruit.

Poor Rob, I'll find some way to cheer you up. wink, wink

No bed?  Guess that explains the 117 year old virgin.

Toodles,  I'm off today to visit my family in Myrtle Beach.  Finally came clean with the hubster about Alex Meraz having a meet & greet while we're down there.  He has no idea of who Alex is or that I have several mags with pics of Alex for him to sign.  Little Man who lives in his invisible world knows all & will be my excuse for going to the meet & greet.  "Honest honey, where else can our son meet Spiderman in person?"

Your secret is safe with me Mrs P

The Last Airbender starring Jackson Rathbone arrives on July 2nd.  Yup, just two days after Eclipse, Jackson is in another blockbuster summer movie.

While watching this trailer last night for The Last Airbender, I noticed Jackson/Sokka kissing some hottie with long blonde hair.  Hmmm.  Does anyone know of a young blonde hottie that would like kissing JRathboner?

If you wanted to keep your sordid affair with Jackson secret Mrs P, you shouldn't have let them catch you kissing him.  I don't even want to know what you did to that poor man once the cameras were gone.  No, I changed my mind.  Fess up all the juicy details.

Lick it, lick it good

Most of you know I'm Team Cullen.  First I fell for Robward, then Kelmett caught my eye.  Lately I've had my eyes opened to the many charms of Jacksper.   Apparently I've fallen for nearly everyone except the wolf pack.

So can someone explain to me why I'm driving 5 hours next weekend to meet Alex Meraz?  I'm using the cover story at home that we haven't gone to Myrtle Beach yet this year.  We typically go there several times a year to visit my relatives.  I'm also talking up the Myrtle Beach MayFest at home.  Yeah, I'll be going there so my son can meet Spiderman in person.  Why else would I go?

Damn, I aways swore I was NOT interested in meeting any of the Twilight cast in person until I lost 40 pounds and 20 years.  LOL   Has anyone else found themselves doing things for their Twisession that they swore not to?

I can resist anything but temptation

Is everyone having a great weekend?  I'm making the most of mine.  Monday starts the great Weight Loss Challenge where I work.  Everyone who is interested puts $20 into a pot & the person who loses the greatest percent of weight wins the money.

Keeping myself away from sweets is about as difficulty as Edward trying to resist Bella's blood. It can be done in theory, but is soooooo difficult.

Speaking of Edward & blood, today we made a little visit to the bloodmobile. (For those not familiar, it's basically a bus that travels around for blood donations.)

Edward made himself right at home in the little bus full of nurses and recliners to relax & let the blood flow.

He couldn't control himself when they stuck my finger to check for hemoglobin. Silly vampire thought it was a papercut.

Edward was fasinated by the whole idea that humans would volunteer to let someone take their blood.  Although I think he was jealous that it wasn't him.

Then all of a sudden it got to be too much for him.  He just had to go in for a "closer look",

I think Edward was happy when we left & returned to work.  All that temptation was just too much for him.

Friday funniez

Time to celebrate the end of another work week with a few funnies.  Yesterday I learned that lick-worthy pics have a tendency to bring more people than usual to my little blog.  I may start a weekly eye-candy post because I like looking at hot guys as much as I like to laugh at the funnies.

I volunteer to get "in the way" for Kristen.

Guys drool over young women all the time.
It's high time we got to do the same.

Actually Rob's sex hair is the beginning, not the end.

I'd let Edward practice by eating me, or at least parts of me.  wink, wink

Kellan Lutz eye candy

First order of business is a big shout out to the brilliant ladies (I use the term loosely) at Trixie and Tess.  They have been blogging for an entire week and have as many followers as I've gotten in over six months.  How did they manage such a feat?  With a bribe contest which I was lucky enough to win.  Plus, their post yesterday reminded me of how great a post of just eye candy can be.

Last night I had a wonderful dream about Kellan.  We were.... Oh shit.  Can't remember very much of it.  Will have to try and remember more of it so Mrs P at TwiBite interrpret it.

Looks like he's digging Billy's new song.

Working out while in Vancouver

Wonder if everything is as big as those muscles?

He is so cute at a Lakers game with me his girlfriend.

Check back soon for my own version of a contest.  It's not fully worked out yet, so feel free to tell me what you want as a prize.  Sorry, I can't deliver a naked Rob, Jackson, Kellan or Peter to your door.

The balancing act

It's been asked "how does a person with a full time job & a family find time to blog?" My first thought is Very Carfully. Actually it's all about finding balance in your life. Don't we always make time for way is important to us?

First rule for me is to make sure Mr TM doesn't feel threatened by my Twi-session. A content Mr leaves me more time to play on the computer. My Robert Pattinson calender, Twilight posters and stash of Robporn is kept at work. Don't want anything at home to make him think I love anyone more than him. (does lust count???)
Sorry Charlie, thats "stash of Robporn that I hide. not cop-stach I'd like to ride.

Then it's just a matter of fitting Twilight & blogging around my normal activities. I really don't spend that much time on the computer, honest. (please nobody count up the following times) First, Mr TM leaves for work at 5:30am. If I get up when he leaves, that leaves an entire hour of nearly undisturbed computer time before I leave for work.

At work I check blogs at lunch hour. OK, sometimes I also check them during the day. My logic is that if smokers get a break to go smoke, then shouldn't Twi-addicts get a similar break for their addiction? It only takes a few minutes to check blogs. Usually. OK sometimes a liiiitttttlllle longer.

In the evening, I usually get on the laptop after supper. Mr TM is busy looking are recipes, naked women and whatever. I don't ask what he does on the computer & he doesn't ask what I do. It's soooooo much safer that way for both of us.

Io in summary, I don't spend much time in Twi-bloggy-land. Just before work, during the workday and in the evening. Oh and somtimes I visit Twi-land in my dreams, but that's a different post.

Monday Eve Ramblings

The weekend is winding down. Or should I say wine ding down. Yup I'm still working on the big box of wine from Friday night. I'm a lightweight at drinking. Blogging or visiting & commenting on blogs after a couple glasses of wine is um, interesting. Have absolutely no idea what I said at Edbrella's FridayFun Five. All I remember was that my fingers weren't working right as I tried to answer the questions.

If you haven't visited http://www.billyburke.net/ yet, then get your arse over there. Billy is offering a free download of his single Removed. Trust me, you won't be sorry. He sounds sexier than he looks. How is that even possible? The lyrics are real, honest and maybe a little thought provoking. Ask me again after I listen to the song a few dozen more times and maybe have a little less wine in me.

Blogs are NOT supposed to be popularity contests. I follow the ones I really like, not the ones with the most followers. With that being said, most of us really, really care about the number of followers we have. I rejoice everytime I get a new follower. Tonight I learned the easy way to get one more follower. I became my own follower. I didn't send myself a Friend invite. Thought that might be just a little too schizophrenic, even for me.

Yesterday we saw Clash of the Titans in 3D. Mr TM liked the original from 1981 & wanted to see the new version. He is the man who took me to midnight openings of Twilight & New Moon without complaint, the least I could do is go to something he wanted to. The movie sucked. They replaced most of the story and character developement with special effects. The only good thing about seeing Clash of the Titans in the theater was this trailer to Nightmare on Elm Street. It starts with Kellan. He calls out "Hello, hello. Is anybody here". I replied "I'm here Kellan" right in the theater as I was sitting between my husband & son. Oops.
Humina, humina. Wanna play a game of strip poker? I promise to loose a the first few rounds.

Thank God It's Twiday

It's time to celebrate surviving another week. O'beer thirty will be here before we know it. I'm looking forward to not camping! Who knows, maybe I'll even be a good mom & take my kid to church for a change.

This picture made me think of Poptarts & Mr. Poptarts.
To a non-gamer like me, World of Warcraft is a lot like Call of Booty, um Duty.

Yes, I know the not bathing was supposed to be a joke.
Rob is famous that every lame joke in an interview spirals out of control.
Hope he took his allergy medicine before the interview with Latchkey Wife.

I just found this one even though it's a little out of date. Reminds me of an interview Rob had with Pierce Brosnan while promoting Remember Me. Pierce indicated the Twilight movies could keep making sequels since they make good money. Rob told him they couldn't make too many more movies because Stephenie only wrote four Twilight books. At which point Pierce pointed out Ian Flemming only wrote a few James Bond novels, but the movies go on and on and on.

Finally one thing that Team Edward and Team Jacob can agree on.

Some people claim Twilight is not well written. One critic even went so far as to say Stephenie Meyers doesn't write very well, she just tells a compelling story. What the heck is the difference. If you write a story that everyone wants to read, I'd call that good writing. If you write a story that everyone wants to read twelve times, see the movies about, visit the book's setting, start blogs about and turn their lives upside down for, then it must be better than good. Sounds to me like the "literature police" are just jealous.

My almost Eclipse tent scene

This last weekend was Camp Snowshoe for cub scouts. Original date was in February, but had to be postponed due to a severe ice storm complete with busted pipes and trees down everywhere. If you aren't lucky enough to be part of the cub/boy scouting scene, it turns out boy scouts have plenty of outings on their own. Cub scouts are elementary school age and always need to be accompanied by a parent. Dangrdafne reminded me that camping in a tent in the cold was kinda like a scene right out of Eclipse.

Here is Edward helping me unpack.

Then Mini Edward tried to get me into the sleeping bag with him.
I woulda done it with the real Edward.

Since I haven't been camping in a coon's age, I forgot to bring a flashlight. Fortunately I had my I-touch. Can you picture this scene? It's dark, little man has to visit what is basically a multi-stall outhouse. I use my I-touch with Alice Cullen wallpaper for light. Of course, the light only lasts a little bit before it goes dark & I have to press the button again. So here we are in the dark. I'm outside the stall with my hand & I-touch inside so the kid has a little light. One of the dads walks into use the other stall while Ian is calling out "Alice, Alice". Did I mention I was the only mom in our group AND the only non-camper?

I know what a golden shower is. No I don't want to know about brown showers!

Liar, liar, pants on fire. When we got up Sunday morning this read 40.
After coffee, breakfast &coffee, I went to my car which was covered in ice.

To be honest, I survived & the boy had a great time. Trips like this one make memories that will last him a lifetime. Even so, why did our campsite have to be the furthest one away with the entire hike being straight uphill. For the first time in my life I understand the difficulty of having a child at "advanced maternal age". This trip would have been no problem if I still had the body & bladder I did at 35.

Technology for Twihards

Originally this post was going to be called "Things I don't understand". However it would take more than one blog to cover a topic that broad. Seriously, why does my teenage son where a shirt that says "I'm uncertain about quantum mechanics"? OK, back to the technology part.

Who know when we started reading Twilight that we would eventually wind up spending so much time on the computer.

Facebook - Originally I joined Facebook as a way to connect with family members in different states. I had lost touch with my cousins for many years. Now I have family, co-workers and twi-friends. None of which understand each other. I've even considered starting another facebook for Twilight stuff that the others wouldn't understand.

Blogger - Because I couldn't say what I wanted on Facebook & just commenting on blogs wasn't enough, I started a blog. It's been just over 6 months & I still don't know the difference between a Follower and a Follower that's a Friend.

iGoogle - Chat on iGoogle sounds good. I'm always at iGoogle. Yet for all the Friends I have in other places, none are on Google. Why don't friends on Google Blogger show up as friends on iGoogle? Do you have to Google someone to find them in iGoogle. How the heck does this thing work????

Windows Live Messenger - This came with my new computer & two twi-friends have found me. Both are already friends on Facebook. The advantage is that I can talk to them on WLM without actually being on Facebook. Those annoying friends of family try to start conversations on Facebook.
Twitter - I follow people on Twitter & sometimes people follow me. Still don't know what to do with it. If no one is twittering does that mean no one is on Twitter to talk with? If people are talking on Twitter is it rude to jump into an ongoing conversation? And the biggest question of all... do I have anything to say that is worth twittering about? Or am I just a twit???

Skype - Another program that came with my new laptop. Once again, it's all set up and has nobody to connect with. That's the technological version of "all dressed up and no where to go".
WTF am I to make of all this? Friends and followers abound in various places. Does someone have to be connected with you in twelve dozen ways just so you can talk with them? That would be gross. (math pun intended). What's your favorite way of talking online?

Thank God It's Twiday

Wahoo!!! It's finally Friday. I'm so glad to have survived another work week. Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'll be camping Saturday night in near freezing weather. In a tent! On with the funnies. This week's TGIT theme is Quotes.

I know which category fits me - scary Twi-mom

The chocolate is for me. James can have whats-her-name.

This is one of my favorite quotes from Breaking Dawn.
Is it wrong to have lots and lots of "favorite" quotes?

I try really, really hard to not be "the Twilight Fan that scares people away".
What does it say about me that I even have to try?

This is for the Team Jacob followers.
I'm an equal opportunity Twi-nabler.

What is your favorite quote?

If Loving Twi Is Wrong I Don't Want To Be Right

Does anyone remember this old song from 1979? Somehow it just seemed to need a little update to be appropriate today.

If loving Twi is wrong I don't wanna be right
If being right means not reading fanfic
I'd rather live a wrong than right

My family and friends say it's a shame
It's a downright disgrace
Long as I can read Twilight
I don't care what my people say

They all tell me there’s no point to keep
reading the same four books.
But I just can’t stay away from those
Twi-guys with their hot looks

If loving Twi is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving Twi is wrong I don't wanna be right

Am I wrong to be so busy with my blog
knowing I got a husband at home
who just might want to snog

And am I wrong to surf
the internet night and day
knowing I have kids at home
who think I’m gonna cook today

And am I wrong to fall in love
with a fictional vampire
And am I wrong to collect a drawer
of secret Rob-porn

If loving Twi is wrong I don't wanna be right
If loving Twi is wrong I don't wanna be right

I don't wanna be right
if it means no fanfic at night
I don't wanna be right
if it means no twitter at night

I don't wanna, I don't wanna
I don't wanna never, never, never be right

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all my peeps, followers and lurkers. Hope you had a day filled with whatever you want out of Easter. For most of us it's some combination of family, church & chocolate. I've come to realize that while most of us celebrate Easter, some may have different holidays. All are welcome here.
Edward says you're no-bunny until some-bunny loves you.
Head over to Robmusement for some one shot reccs where they are doin' it like rabbits..

Here are the yummy twi-guys with chocolate.
Click here for all the chocolate themed fanfic I could find.

Hope you had an eggs-cellent holiday.

Rob looks good enough to eat every day of the year.
