Just another manic Monday

I survived another Monday! That deserves a little celebration. Unfortunately, for you all I have to share is some random ramblings & shout outs of better blogs. The scary thing is that my brain is so good at thinking up random Twilight stuff when I should be doing real work, but as soon as I sit down in front of Blogger, it goes blank. WTF is up with that???

Spring Fever has hit most of us. TigerLilyRose has been busier than most of us put together. Gardening and bunnies and chicks Oh My. Random Acts of Rob wonders what Rob has in his pockets. Ooohhhh. I volunteer to go undercover & investgate. Mrs P over at TwiBite continues to bring us a great post every forking day. Let's all wish Mrs P luck has she has the P-lings home for spring break.
Have you noticed I've been re-arranging my blog over the last week? Eclipse countdown has been added as well as the Dirty Speech Bubble Award from Twilight Mommy and the TwiBite Twifecta Award. This is a special award for taking the TwiBite Challenge, asking Mrs P a questions and having Mrs P analyse a dream. While I was spring cleaning the blog, I decided to take down the "adult content warning". The original plan was to be wild & crazy on the blog like I rarely have a chance to be in RL. The reality is more like mild & lazy. Oh well. JJ at Twitarded claims to be lazy & we all love her anyway.

I've been wondering about how the relationship between Carlisle and Esme got started. Seriously, when Carlisle changed Esme he know it would be a waste to let her die. He couldn't have known exactly how she would react to being a vampire or who she would fall in love with. So.... would the development of Carlisle and Esme's relationship be known as "The Courtship of Eddie's Father"? BTW if you don't remember this show from the 69-72 then you clearly aren't as old as I am. Dammit. I think my warranty has expired.

Thank God It's Friday

It's Friday again. I can always tell because by this time of the week I am fried. Do you think that might be how Friday got it's name? Yeah, RL has kicked my but this week. Looking forward to a better weekend as family comes in town & I go away with Mr TM for a night without kids. On to the Friday Funnies.

I knew she was a bitch.

This made me say WTF & giggle at the same time.

Hello McGyver, vampires are already undead.

First three pictures are funny.
Anyone know what is up with the owls?

New Moon, New Moon, New Moon

I'm making an exception here by talking New Moon. Normally I'm against posting on a subject that everyone else it talking about or sharing pictures that everyone else is posting at the same time (unless it is KLutz in his skivvies). Not that I have anything against blogs who share the latest news & pictures. I love them for keeping us up to date. They do it much better than I could.

Hope you'all were able to enjoy some New Moon this weekend. I wimped out of the midnight party scene. The idea of facing crowds of Twi-hards on my own was a little daunting. Mr TM offered to go with me. Bless his heart, he is so supportive of anything I want to do. We finally settled for a "private party" at home. wink, wink

Saturday morning I rushed to Walmart as soon as the GWRRA motorcycle club meeting was over. I had been fretting over whether they would have any DVD's left. Did they ever have some. Thee were stacks and stacks of New Moon DVD's as soon as you came in the door, plus more back in the electronics dept. Ian begged for the Jacob barbie doll. It was a rotten likeness & I can just imagine Mr TM's reaction if I bought a barbie doll for our son. LOL

Saturday night Mr TM made a big batch of his famous popcorn & we settled in to watch the movie. Ian got to stay up an hour past his weekend bedtime because this was important. We all liked the movie. Mr TM sighed contentedly every time Alice appeared. Of course that doesn't bother me in the least. It's really nothing compared to how much I love Rob & Kellan. Ian loves Jacob & the wolfpack. Not romantic love, more like how he loves Ironman, X-men and Transformers.

Sunday evening we were looking for something worth watching & Mr TM suggested we watch New Moon again. Not sure if he was trying to score brownie points or just wanted to see Alice again. Yeah, he did rewind to watch Alice & her cleavage bounce down the stairs at Bella's birthday party. It was actually my idea that he get some more Alice. That way he can't complain if I do the same with Edward.

I like the New Moon movie more than the Twilight movie & am looking forward excitedly to Eclipse. Only 99 days from today. We are now in the double digits!!!!! Let's all sing to the tune of 99 Bottle of Beer on the Wall - -

99 days until Eclipse comes out,

99 days til Eclipse,

waste one now,

mark it on down,

98 days until Eclipse comes out,

98 days till Eclipse,

waste one now,

mark it on down,

97 days until Eclipse comes out,

97 days til Eclipse,

waste one now,

mark it on down...

Thank God It's Twiday

Believe it or not, I had planned an intelligent thoughtful post for today. But then decided, fuck it. Humor is definitely needed after the week I've had. Thankfully all the family drama has been resolved. Everyone is now a happy family again. Here are some smiles to brighten your Friday.

Jurassic Park meats Twilight!?

The parachuters are actually men who refuse to learn from Edward's perfect example.

Some people are so delusional. Red Bella is as real as you want her to be.

Hello to the dipshit on Facebook. If Bella isn't real, then why is Edward sparkling?

Can't believe March 20th is nearly here. Are you planning to go to a New Moon party tonight? If so, where are you going?

Real Live vs Twi Life

RL sucks big time. I don't want to bore everyone with my disasterous weekend, but last night I had to use my Adult Blankie as described by Twired. It's time for another VS post. The last one was Edward vs Robert in October.

REAL LIFE:
  • Real Life sucks big time.
  • It's Time - to do income taxes. They are due in less than a month.
  • Dishes & laundry are two things I never seem to finish.
  • Dream turn to nightmares, and I wake up exhausted no matter how much I sleep.
  • Meeting birth family make adoptive family freak out.
  • Blame - gets thrown on you for "mistakes" whether deserved or not.
  • Let some of my weekend slip into this post. Oops.
  • College costs & details seem a big hurdle to tackle.
  • Alcohol & anti-depressants are required to start some days, occasionally in double doses.
  • Socially challenged - wouldn't know anyone to call in a crisis.
  • Being uncoordinated leaves me with mystery bruises.
  • Dog peee & poops on my floor.
  • Child is socially & academically behind by a couple years & likes it.

TWI LIFE:

  • I wish I could suck on Rob and/or Kellan.
  • It's Time - those two words always remind me of Alice in the baseball scene from Twilight.
  • Dishes & laundry barely exsist in Twilight since vampires don't eat food & Alice rarely lets them wear the same clothes twice.
  • Sweet daydreams of naughty fanfic.
  • Meeting birth family again not an option once "adopted" into the Cullen family.
  • Blame - Edward and Bella each take 100% of blame leaving none for anyone else.
  • Love when Edward slips it ot Bella in fanfic. wink, wink
  • College cost is no problem. Cullens have more money than a small country.
  • Alcohol and drugs lead to trouble in CW&IA.
  • Socially connected - always someone on Twitter in a crisis.
  • Being uncoordinated makes me like Bella.
  • Dog is actually a hot teenage werewolf.
  • Renessmee is socially & academically advanced & likes it.

Did I leave out any comparisons between Real Life & Twi Life? Can I spell before breakfast? Do you have any comments about when a child over 18 meets their biological family? Is the adoptive family within their rights to force the child to choose one or the other?

Team threesome

Right now, laundry is in the washer & dryer getting ready for me to pack my bags. In just a few hours I'll be on my way out to an out of state hotel room where I'll spend the night with two guys. Ooo la la. (Should I admit I'm married to one of the guys & gave birth to the other? )

Anywho, my weekend trip got me thinking about what kind of threesome would be ideal if I didn't have to worry about RL things like husband & kids. That is one reason we blog, to leave all the responsibilities behind for a few minutes.

I'd start with some adorkable Rob.
Already have a few ideas for that mouth of his.

Then finish with some hawt KLutz.
Whatcha packing there big guy?

The are supposed to be good friends, so who says they don't share everything? What would your dream threesome be?

Hump Day Humor

It's hump day ladies.
After Monday & Tuesday, the rest of the work week is WTF.

Can't add anything to this one. The caption already says it all.

That's a matter of opinion. Personally, I would switch those labels.

Twilight, the official movie of ganstas???

I knew there was a reason I like Google.

That would make two of us.

For more chuckles, check out Edbrella today. Nibbles wonders what the Twi-guys would think if they knew what we wrote/read about them.

Thank God It's Twiday

Thought I would celebrate the almost end of the week with some funnies. I say almost because kids go to school Monday, Friday & Saturday this week. Blame the snow for missing three days & having to make up on the weekend. For me snow days mean breakfast with family before work instead of blogging or reading my fave blogs.

The dishes can wait.

Bromance, not romance. People.

Some guys just don't get it.

That's what people think when you go around saying you are allergic to vaginas and your favorite celebrity to kiss would be Ricky Gervais.

Whoever captioned this one didn't even know they were in Paris, not Comic-Con.
Hope this starts your day with a laugh. After posting these, I realized the folks at failblog.org don't seem to like Twilight very much. Still funny though.

Double your pleasure, double your fun

Today is twice as much fun because I'm combining TWO post ideas that have been rolling around in the big empty space known as my brain. I've finished CW&IA so I have time to put together some of the ideas from the last couple weeks.

First idea is I'm Breaking All the Rules. I've spoken several times about only reading completed fanfic since several have left me hanging precariously. That went out the window when I started reading fanfics by Stan, Mrs P and Poptart.

Second idea is A Tale of Two Twilights which would pimp out authors with two fanfics I have enjoyed. Turns out many of these include at least on work in progress. These are presented no particular order since they are all favorites.

Poptarrt has not one but two fanfics in progress. I've read Stare From Afar. It is so similar and yet so different than the original Twilight. Each chapter is delicious as the story slowly unwinds. She is up to eight chapters & guess who is in love? Poptarrt is also co-writing Call of Booty with Stoney. In case you didn't know, Mr Poptarrt loves Call of Duty nearly as much as Poptarrt loves Twilight. Call of Booty is hot from the get go. Mmmm. My kind of story.

Mrs P brings us Vampire In Wolfs Clothing. This story follows the orignal story & characters, but with highly original plot. Fans of Grey's Anatomy will know what I mean when I say this is "dark & twisty". Plus there is smut in every chapter. Mrs P tells the entire story in five quick chapters. No worries about your life being put on hold for a week or two while reading this one. Her follow up is Jolene's Revenge. This one only has three chapters so far. Still waiting to see how the plot unfolds.

I've already made several a number of references to Clipped Wings & Inked Armor by hunterhunting. Had the scare of my life about halfway thru. Was reading CW&IA on my Blackberry while driving to work (gotta do something during red lights). On the way home from work, the story was gone. It was pulled from fanfic.net. Luckily Cullenary Curser was on Twitter to tell me the was at Twilighted. After all that angst, hunterhunting is trying her hand at a lighthearted story. The Misapprehension of Bella Swan Regarding the Inferior Intellect of Hockey Players: Through incessant stalking and persistence, can Edward weardown Bella's resistence and teach her to embrace her inner puck bunny? A ridiculous love story.
